🏊 Swimming & choosing a monofin
Add a monofin to give your mermaid tail structure and enable mermaid swimming. Our comfortable neoprene monofins are sold separately. Please read the safety requirements below before using a tail or monofin in the water.
Choosing the right fit: Our special shaped monofin is specifically designed for Bubbles tail sizes 130–150 and can be purchased separately using the “Shaped Monofin only” option. For tail sizes 110–120, we recommend our standard small monofin for fit. These are fit recommendations, not an indication of suitability for younger swimmers.
📏 Finding the perfect fit
Available in sizes for ages 3–12 years. Please check our size guide below for the perfect fit. As a general rule, choose the size closest to your child's total height in cm. Clothing sizes do not indicate suitability for swimming; smaller sizes are for dress-up, not younger swimmers.
🧜 Easy care instructions
- Rinse in fresh water after swimming to remove chlorine
- Hand washing is preferable, but the tail can also be machine washed on a cool setting.
- Use mild detergent
- Hang to dry
- Avoid scooting, jumping or scraping fabric on concrete to help prevent wear
